Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I book my wedding hair?
I recommend booking your wedding hair as soon as you have your venue and wedding date secured. I take bookings up to 18 months in advance, and key dates (especially during peak wedding season) can fill up quickly.
What is the purpose of a hair preview, and when should I book it?
A hair preview is a collaborative session where we work together to create your perfect wedding day look. It's a chance to experiment and ensure we have a plan you're completely happy with. I suggest booking your preview 2-3 months before your wedding. This allows you to have a better idea of your dress, accessories, and overall vision.
What if I change my mind about my hairstyle after the preview?
It’s completely normal to refine your ideas as your day gets closer. If you change your mind after the preview, just let me know. We can talk through your updated vision and confirm any tweaks or adjustments needed. Your wedding morning should feel completely “you,” and I’m here to make sure your final style reflects that, even if your plans evolve along the way.
Do I need hair extensions?
Not everyone needs extensions, but they can make a big difference to the fullness, longevity, and overall finish of many bridal styles—especially braids, waves, and textured designs. During your preview, I’ll assess your natural hair, talk through your chosen look, and let you know honestly if extensions would enhance or complete the style you’re aiming for. If recommended, I’ll guide you on the best type to purchase so everything blends seamlessly.
Do you travel to my wedding location? Is there a travel fee?
Yes, I am a mobile hairstylist and will travel to your chosen location on your wedding day. A travel fee will apply from my base in Cholsey. I will provide a clear travel quote when you enquire.
Can you style hair for my entire bridal party?
Absolutely! I am happy to style hair for your bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and other members of your wedding party. To ensure everyone is ready on time, I may need to bring a trusted second stylist for larger groups.
How do I secure my wedding date with you?
To secure your wedding date, a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit are required. This fee is then deducted from your final balance. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding day.
